Attend the Grassroots Royalist Activists Gathering
In Kampong Cham Province on December 4, 2010

City of Kampong Cham – There were 488 strong Grassroots Royalist Activists gathered to listen to HRH Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh messages. During the assembly HRH said that He would accept the presidency of Norodom Ranariddh Party should the congress, which scheduled to be held on December 11, unanimously adopted decision to invite Him to lead the party.

HRH Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh also took the opportunity to convey His messages of building close relations among the royalists’ voters in a place where He’s used to represent since 1993; at the same time, HRH emphasized that the royalist leaderships must be once again re-established belief and confidence among the people in promoting clear policies of real national interests.

H.R.H. Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh and Neakmoneang granted an audience to Nationalism Party‘s activists from Pothisat, Takeo, Kratie, Kampong Chhnang, Preah Sihanouk, and Svay Reang provinces. In the meeting, the activists offered the motion signed by a thousand of activists in their provinces to ask for reusing the Norodom Ranariddh Party and to invite H.R.H. Samdech Krom Preah leading this Royalism Party.

During the Kathen Day (Traditional Buddist festival), H.R.H. Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh, President of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty the King and President of Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh Foundation, had an initiative in celebrating the Kathen festival to offer Buddhist monks the traditional offerings at Watt Crab in Angkor Cheay, Kampot province.


In the evening of 21 November, H.R.H. Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh and Neakmoneang, had taken the time to grant an audience to 229 activists of Nationalism Party. In the meeting, the activist asked H.R.H. Samdech Krom Preah for reusing Norodom Ranariddh Party and offered the motion signed by 1400 activists. At the end, H.R.H. Samdech Krom Preah accepted what activists proposed above.

On the 9th day of Pchumben, which was on the 2nd of October, 2010, HRH Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh, President of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty the King and President of HRH Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh Foundation and Neakmoneang went to Wat Ang Chang Er in the District of Samrong, in the province of Takeo to attend the traditional Buddhist Pchumben. Hundred of villagers from the district came to welcome HRH Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh and Neakmoneang, and joined Their Royal Highnesses in the traditional Buddhist praying of Pchumben.

Hundred of villagers from the district came to welcome HRH Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh and Neakmoneang, and joined Their Royal Highnesses in the traditional Buddhist praying of Pchumben.

On the 3rd day of Pchumben, which was on the 26 of September, 2010, HRH Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh, President of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty the King and President of HRH Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh Foundation and Neakmoneang participated in the traditional Buddhist ceremony at Wat Preah Keo Sakor Trean in Commune Trean, District of Kampong Siem, province of Kampong Cham.
Hundred of villagers from 15 districts of the province of Kampong Cham came to welcome HRH Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh and Neakmoneang, and joined Their Royal Highnesses in the traditional Buddhist praying of Pchumben.
At the conclusion of the Pchumben ceremony, HRH Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh and Neakmoneang took the opportunity to express Their Royal appreciation, profound affection and as well as deepest compassion for the people.

On the 23rd day of September 2010, HRH Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh and Neakmoneang held Buddhist Ceremony to pay Their Royal Homage to the Royal Ancestors. 

In particular, The Royal Ceremony convened to offer Their Royal Homage to His Majesty Preah Karuna Preah Bath Samdech Preah Norodom for answering Their Royal Prayers; thus a Special Buddhist Ceremony was held to pay tribute to Preah Bath Samdech Preah Norodom.
